About the Role
As a Technical Writer, you’ll work alongside engineers and manufacturing teams to document processes and equipment operations. You’ll translate complex manufacturing procedures into clear, easy-to-follow instructions and visual guides. This role combines writing, observation, and communication skills in a fast-paced production environment where your documentation directly supports operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
What You’ll Do
• Work in a dynamic, active manufacturing setting, observing live processes and capturing detailed information through notes, recordings, and photographs
• Receive work requests for documentation tasks, revisions, approvals, and process improvements
• Transform raw information into standardized, professionally formatted instructions and visual guides
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining quality standards
• Guide documents through review and approval processes across different departments
• Support training and development initiatives
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders, providing regular status updates
Skills/background needed: Strong written and spoken English, excellent listening and observation skills, meticulous attention to detail, ability to organize competing priorities, customer service mindset, and proficiency with digital photography and document editing. Experience in manufacturing is helpful but not required. We provide full training—no prior technical writing experience necessary.
