About the role:
We’re looking for an organized, enthusiastic Content Writer to join our team. You’ll develop and coordinate marketing content, write engaging copy, manage digital platforms, and support administrative coordination across multiple projects and initiatives.
This is a great entry-level position with full training provided. No prior marketing experience is required – just a willingness to learn and a commitment to producing clear, professional content.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and coordinate marketing and communication initiatives across digital, print, social media, websites, email, and other platforms • Create, edit, and coordinate engaging content that tells our story and highlights our programs and community assets • Maintain websites, social media platforms, email communications, and other digital resources to ensure information is accurate, timely, and on-brand • Support the development of marketing materials, presentations, advertisements, and promotional resources • Coordinate outreach activities, business meetings, events, ribbon cuttings, and community partnership initiatives • Maintain databases and customer relationship management systems to organize business, prospect, and stakeholder information • Conduct research and compile information to support marketing initiatives, presentations, reports, and strategic projects • Prepare and coordinate reports, correspondence, presentations, and professional documents • Serve as a professional point of contact for businesses, partners, residents, and stakeholders, providing responsive customer service • Assist with administrative coordination, including meeting preparation, agendas, minutes, records management, and records organization • Handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives • Attend occasional meetings and events outside normal business hours as needed
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field • Two years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, business development, project coordination, or a similar role • Experience writing and editing content for websites, social media, email, presentations, or marketing materials • Experience coordinating multiple projects, programs, meetings, or events with various stakeholders • Proficiency with websites, social media platforms, email marketing tools, presentation software, and design applications • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to research, gather information, and translate it into clear, useful materials • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to handle confidential information professionally and exercise sound judgment • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new technologies and practices
