Role Summary
We are seeking an organized and community-focused Bilingual (English/Spanish) Content & Community Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. This position plays an important role in connecting with the community by promoting programs and events, maintaining our online presence, supporting outreach efforts, and helping coordinate community activities.
You will work closely with leadership to create and share engaging content across digital platforms, communicate with community members and partners, and increase awareness and participation in our programs.
The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, enjoys connecting with people, is comfortable creating digital content, and can manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment. This position also includes representing the organization at community events and supporting the coordination of one to two events per month.
What You’ll Do
• Promote programs and events across online and community platforms to increase awareness and registration
• Create graphics and promotional materials using Canva based on program and event information
• Write engaging captions and content about upcoming events, programs, and community stories for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile
• Maintain and update the organization’s content calendar to ensure social media posts and digital content are scheduled and tracked
• Upload graphics and captions to social media platforms
• Draft and send a biweekly newsletter using email marketing software
• Respond to comments and private messages on the organization’s online platforms in a professional and timely manner
• Maintain and update the organization’s website to ensure program, event, and community information is accurate and engaging
• Add upcoming programs and events to community calendars monthly
• Communicate with community partners about upcoming programs and workshops
• Represent the organization at community events by distributing materials, sharing information, and building relationships
• Provide support before, during, and after organizational events to ensure they run smoothly
• Assist with other community engagement and outreach activities as needed
Skills/Background Needed
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication)
• Experience or comfort creating graphics using Canva
• Ability to write engaging and professional content for social media
• Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Experience with email marketing platforms or willingness to learn
• Experience maintaining social media calendars or content calendars
• Willingness to learn digital tools such as website platforms and business profile management systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail
• Comfortable attending and representing the organization at community events
