Role: Junior Writing Assistant
Contract length: Full time, permanent

About the role:
This is a full-time writing support position on a small team producing long-form nonfiction content for professional clients. You will manage transcripts and research materials, draft content quickly, and maintain organizational systems for senior writers and publishing consultants on the team.
No prior professional writing experience is required. You will receive full training and support as you learn the systems and processes. The work is intense and deadline-driven, with weekly and nightly deliverables. Weekly team meetings are held (some in-person attendance required), but most work is remote and flexible.
What you’ll do:
• Organize and tag interview transcripts and research files using provided tools
• Produce draft chapters, sections, and supporting written content
• Track manuscript versions, quotes, facts, and follow-up questions across multiple live projects
• Manage materials and workflows so the team operates smoothly
• Keep pace with the team’s production schedule
Skills/background needed:
• Ability to organize long-form content and track details across large volumes of material
• Comfortable writing rough drafts from raw materials (transcripts, notes, research)
• Extremely organized, detail-focused, and accurate
• Fast worker who can deliver under tight deadlines
• Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Professional, reliable, and committed to high-quality output
