Schedule: Full Time | Approximately 40 hours/week

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Ongoing full-time position

Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented digital marketer to support marketing work across multiple clients and campaigns. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take marketing projects from initial concept through execution and performance analysis.

You’ll create compelling content, build and manage advertising campaigns, capture event content, and use performance data to improve results. This is far more than just posting to social media—you’ll understand both the creative and performance side of digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain content calendars across multiple brands and campaigns
  • Create and edit content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social platforms
  • Design graphics, flyers, presentations, event materials, and marketing collateral using design tools
  • Produce short-form video content and edit reels
  • Capture photo and video content at events and create timely promotional content
  • Write social media copy, advertising copy, email content, and promotional messaging
  • Build and manage paid advertising campaigns through major advertising platforms
  • Develop audience targeting and retargeting campaigns
  • Monitor advertising budgets and track campaign performance
  • Support email marketing campaigns, including messaging and audience segmentation
  • Track key metrics including reach, engagement, conversions, website traffic, and cost per result
  • Prepare monthly reports showing what worked, what didn’t, and recommended improvements
  • Use performance data to recommend strategy adjustments
  • Work on marketing initiatives across various client types and industries

Skills/background needed:

No prior professional experience required. We provide full training. You should have:

  • A portfolio or examples of content you’ve personally created (school projects, personal brand work, or volunteer projects are great)
  • Basic experience or familiarity with social media platforms
  • Strong interest in digital marketing, advertising, and social media trends
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of tasks
  • Comfort with learning new tools and platforms quickly
  • Willingness to capture content at live events and work flexible hours when needed
  • Interest in using data to make marketing decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while keeping brand voices distinct

Familiarity with the following is helpful but not required: Canva or design software, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, video editing, Google Ads or Meta Ads, or social media scheduling tools.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days, you’ll learn the brands we work with, organize content calendars, complete assignments independently, support paid campaigns, and produce event content consistently.

By 60 days, campaigns will be running smoothly, you’ll complete reporting without reminders, measure results regularly, and start suggesting new ideas and improvements.

By 90 days, you’ll independently manage core marketing work, contribute to strategy decisions, improve campaign performance, and create work that generates measurable results.

This Role is Right for You If:

  • You’re excited to show examples of work you’ve created
  • You care about how campaigns perform, not just how they look
  • You can manage multiple brand voices without making them sound identical
  • You spot content opportunities and capture them without being asked
  • You prefer fixing an underperforming campaign early rather than defending a strategy that isn’t working
  • You bring ideas and solutions to the table
  • You stay organized and manage your own deadlines
  • You actively learn about changes in digital marketing

This Role May Not Be Right for You If:

  • You prefer being given a completed content calendar rather than building one
  • You only have experience with basic social media posting
  • You measure success by whether something was published rather than how it performed
  • You need frequent reminders about deadlines
  • Quick turnarounds and same-day event content aren’t your strength
  • You work best in a fully remote environment
  • Feedback on underperforming campaigns feels like criticism
