Overview
We are seeking passionate educators with strong communication and writing skills to teach writing and English language arts to students. You’ll develop lesson plans, create engaging learning materials, and help students grow as confident readers and writers. Full training and support provided – no prior teaching experience required.
About the role
As an entry-level educator, you will lead classroom instruction in reading, writing, grammar, and language skills. You’ll create worksheets, activity sheets, rubrics, and assessments to support student learning. You’ll also use multimedia resources and tools to create blended learning opportunities that keep students engaged and excited about developing their writing and reading abilities.
You’ll work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to meet the needs of all students, including those with varying learning styles and backgrounds. You’ll maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and help students discover their own voices through writing and discussion.

What you’ll do
- Lead multiple classes per day in writing and English language arts
- Create learning materials including lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and assessments
- Use data to understand student progress and adjust your teaching accordingly
- Identify and implement multimedia tools and resources that enhance the learning experience
- Support students in developing close reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary skills
- Lead a daily advisory class focused on helping students develop soft skills they need for success
- Grade student work and provide timely feedback through comments and records
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to meet all students’ needs
- Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as needed
- Work as part of a collaborative team committed to continuous improvement
