We’re looking for motivated testers to join us as App Quality Control Testers. Working entirely remotely, you’ll evaluate mobile applications and verify they perform according to our quality expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and launch mobile applications on your device using a smartphone or tablet.
- Evaluate how well the app works, how easy it is to use, and the standard of its performance.
- Take detailed notes on any glitches, crashes, or problems you discover while using the app.
- Work with the wider team to communicate findings and assist in fixing problems identified.
Requirements:
- A mobile device (smartphone or tablet) with either iOS or Android software installed.
- Careful observation and a capacity to adhere to detailed instructions.
- Clear and effective written communication for describing bugs and problems found.
- Dependable internet access and the capability to operate from a home office.
Contract length: Open-ended
Rate: $25 – $35 hourly (Based on app sophistication and the thoroughness of testing needed)
Skills/background needed:
- Possess a mobile device and have familiarity with downloading and launching applications.
- Capable of managing tasks without constant oversight
- Capacity to adhere to detailed guidelines and directions precisely
- Minimum 5+ hours weekly that you can dedicate to this work
- Consistent and stable internet connection
Hours per week: Adaptable schedule.
Location: Remote positions available from home (Primarily United States-based). We are actively scaling our distributed remote team for these roles.
