Roles: We are looking for a Social Media Copy Editor to join our fully remote team. In this entry-level role, you will help check and polish content before it is published on social platforms, making sure everything is accurate, clear and consistent.
Full training is provided, so no prior professional experience is needed. All you need is a good eye for detail, a love of social media and a willingness to learn.
What you will do:
Review and edit captions and copy for social posts before they go live. Proofread and fact-check short-form content. Help keep a consistent style guide and brand voice. Flag cultural moments and trends that may affect content. Support the team with quick edits on tight timelines.
Skills/background needed: Strong attention to detail. Comfort working on several tasks at once. Basic writing and editing ability. Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Threads and similar platforms. A genuine interest in internet culture, news and trends. Willingness to work across time zones.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Contract position with the potential to move into a permanent role.
Location: Remote work worldwide (United States preferred)
