About this role
Are you a detail-oriented writer who loves helping others understand complex topics? This is a contract position where you’ll create and maintain knowledge base articles for a software platform used by organizations worldwide.
You will:
Write, publish, and update help articles and user guides for platform features
Test software features and document how they work
Work with a small team to prioritize tasks and set realistic goals
Collaborate with subject-matter experts across different departments to answer questions and solve problems
Help improve documentation processes over time
What you’ll need
A genuine interest in technical writing and clear communication
Strong written and spoken English
Experience or coursework in writing, editing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent real-world experience)
Comfort learning new software tools quickly
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Willingness to receive feedback and use it to improve your work
Ability to learn complex systems and explain them clearly to others
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Problem-solving mindset and curiosity about how things work
Previous technical writing experience is a plus, but we welcome entry-level applicants with strong writing skills and a desire to learn.
