About the role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our operations team. You’ll work with manufacturing, quality, and warehouse teams to create clear, accurate documentation that keeps our operations running smoothly. This is a great entry point into technical writing, where you’ll learn industry standards while supporting important compliance activities.
What you’ll be doing:
• Draft, review, and maintain operational documents including procedures, forms, work instructions, and training materials
• Coordinate document reviews and approvals between different departments
• Organize and manage documentation in our document management system
• Support document updates, revisions, and version control activities
• Work with teams to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and meets regulatory standards
• Participate in document reviews and help identify areas for improvement
• Support audit preparation and readiness activities
• Maintain organized records and documentation archives
• Attend operational meetings and help document process improvements
Skills/background needed:
• Strong writing and document formatting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills across departments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to learn and apply documentation standards
• Willingness to work in a regulated environment and follow compliance procedures
No prior experience in this specific field is required—we provide full training. A background in life sciences, engineering, technical writing, or a related field is helpful but not essential. We’re open to candidates with equivalent professional experience.
Work environment:
This is an on-site role based at our local facility. You’ll spend your time in an office environment, with minimal physical demands. The role involves standing, sitting, using computers, and collaborating with team members. You may occasionally need to lift or move items up to 25 pounds. Travel is minimal—less than 5% of the time.
