Role Summary
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to support manufacturing operations. You’ll create and maintain documentation for equipment, utilities, and facilities used in product manufacturing, with a focus on calibration, maintenance, and quality systems. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across teams to translate technical information into clear, compliant documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Author and revise standard operating procedures, work instructions, and maintenance documentation
• Work with maintenance, engineering, operations, and quality teams to gather technical information and convert it into clear documentation
• Support quality-system documentation including investigations and corrective-action records
• Review and update preventive maintenance and calibration documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain tracking systems for open documents, investigations, and approval status
• Document and update user access, security roles, and permissions across systems used on-site
• Coordinate document routing, review, approval, and effective-date activities within quality-management systems
• Support documentation-readiness initiatives
Skills/background needed
• Experience authoring standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation
• Familiarity with manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or medical-device environments
• Experience with document-control and quality-management systems
• Strong understanding of data integrity, version control, and approval workflows
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compliant documents
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Full training will be provided for entry-level candidates
