About This Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Technical Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our sales and production teams, ensuring that all technical specifications are accurate and ready for manufacturing. You’ll review documentation, validate information, resolve configuration issues, and communicate with internal teams and partners to keep projects on track.
This is a fully supported entry-level position—we provide comprehensive training and mentorship, so no prior experience in this specific field is necessary.
What You’ll Do
• Work with internal teams and partners to review and validate technical specifications and pricing information for accuracy
• Conduct thorough reviews of specifications, identifying and resolving any errors or conflicts
• Create and distribute formal documentation of changes and modifications, ensuring everything is tracked and recorded
• Convert and organize technical data using spreadsheet software to support manufacturing and other departments
• Provide support and guidance to team members when complex issues arise
• Serve as the main point of contact for partners regarding specification updates and changes
• Identify patterns in issues and work toward long-term solutions to prevent future problems
• Support additional projects and tasks as needed to meet team deadlines
Skills/Background Needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
• Comfortable with basic math (percentages, proportions, discounts)
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
Preferred (Not Required)
• Associate’s degree in business administration or communication
• 1–2 years of customer service, sales, or administrative experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
