We’re looking for a detail-oriented writer to help create clear, user-friendly technical documentation. In this role, you’ll take complex technical information and translate it into documents that anyone can understand — whether they’re technical experts or everyday users.
You’ll work on a variety of documents including user manuals, training materials, installation guides, and reports. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone looking to build a career in technical writing with full training provided.
What You’ll Do
- Write and edit technical documents, manuals, guides, and reports
- Research technical topics and use appropriate terminology
- Organize material clearly, following style and formatting standards
- Work with graphics and design tools to enhance document quality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure documents meet user needs
Skills and Experience We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and explain complex information clearly
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies
- Attention to detail and ability to follow formatting guidelines
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with word processing software
Nice to have:
- Experience with graphic design or photo editing software
- Familiarity with web publishing or markup languages
- Basic knowledge of technical or software topics
Tools You’ll Use
You’ll work with standard office software including Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and design tools. We’ll provide training on any specialized software you’ll need.
