We are seeking a Proposal Writer to join our team and help develop compelling, clear proposals in response to business solicitations. In this position, you will be responsible for writing and editing proposals that communicate our capabilities and value to clients. You will work closely with team members across the organization to craft strong narratives and ensure all proposals meet requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop proposals from start to finish, including executive summaries, technical narratives, management plans, and related documents
• Review solicitation documents to identify requirements and compliance obligations
• Write, edit, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity and accuracy
• Work with subject matter experts, project managers, and other team members to gather information and ensure technical accuracy
• Maintain and organize a library of reusable proposal content, templates, and reference materials
• Ensure all proposals are submitted on time, properly formatted, and fully compliant with requirements
• Support team reviews and incorporate feedback into future proposals
Skills/background needed
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive writing
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and produce quality work quickly
• Collaborative team player who can also work independently
• Experience with Adobe InDesign or similar tools is a plus
• Prior proposal writing experience is helpful but not required — we provide full training
