We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Editor to join our team on a fully remote basis. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone passionate about healthcare writing and editing, with a strong interest in learning medical communications.
In this role, you will work with our editing team to review and refine healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing materials. You’ll collaborate with writers, account managers, and other professionals to ensure all content is accurate, clear, and follows established style guidelines. This is a great opportunity to grow your editorial skills while contributing to meaningful healthcare communications.
What You’ll Do:
Review and edit content for spelling, grammar, consistency, tone, and accuracy • Collaborate with team members on content revisions and project completion • Maintain editorial style guides for team use • Assist with regulatory submission preparation as needed • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning • Support the review and approval process for all materials
Skills/background needed:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field • Strong proofreading and editing skills • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat • Ability to manage multiple projects at once • A genuine interest in healthcare and medicine • Willingness to learn industry-specific style guides and regulatory requirements • Strong communication and teamwork skills
