About the Role
As a Technical Editor, you will review and refine written documents to ensure they meet the highest standards of grammar, punctuation, syntax, clarity, and consistency. You’ll work with authors and subject matter experts to improve content organization, refine tables and graphics, and ensure all materials serve their intended purpose effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Review and edit documents for proper grammar, punctuation, syntax, clarity, logic, and consistency• Ensure all products conform to established publication standards, style guides, and subject matter vocabulary• Refine draft tables, boxes, and graphics to ensure they align with accompanying text• Collaborate with authors to revise and reorganize content for improved logical flow• Analyze and cross-check documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant guidelines• Organize information and determine the best method of presentation• Support the production process from draft through publication• Document processes and best practices to support continuous improvement• Gather information from internal and external sources to ensure thorough and accurate content
