About this role: We’re looking for an entry-level journalist to help create compelling, well-written stories across multiple platforms. You’ll combine reporting, photography, and editing to tell memorable stories that matter to your audience. If you’re a creative storyteller interested in modern multi-platform journalism, we’d like to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and pitch story ideas daily
• Conduct research and interviews to find credible sources and information
• Write, shoot, produce and edit content for web and other platforms
• Meet editorial deadlines consistently
• Use social media and digital tools to research, discover and share content
• Write in a clear, engaging and authentic style
• Attend editorial meetings and contribute ideas
• Use creative techniques like graphics and multimedia elements to enhance storytelling
Skills/background needed: No prior journalism experience required. We’ll provide full training. You should have strong writing skills, basic research abilities, and a genuine interest in storytelling. You’ll need to stay calm under deadline pressure and be comfortable learning new tools on the job. A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
