We are seeking a Writer/Editor to join our team supporting policy document development and technical writing projects. This is a contract position.

Location: Fully remote with occasional in-person meetings.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates.
Experience: No prior experience necessary. Full training will be provided to help you develop expertise in policy document writing and editing.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Contingent hire position.
Roles:
The Writer/Editor will provide technical writing support to document development and report writing projects. Duties include:
Support in developing or revising policy documents and guidance materials following established format standards.
Prepare draft documents and supporting materials within agreed timeframes and formats.
Work with project coordinators, existing documentation, and reviewer feedback to refine materials.
Support planning and execution of stakeholder meetings, including workshops and working groups focused on policy development and programme oversight.
Assist with meeting logistics including agenda development, distribution of materials, facilitation support, meeting notes, and follow-up documentation.
Collect, organize, and maintain technical materials and reference documents.
Update and revise policy manuals, safety guidelines, and procedural documents.
Support development of new policy documents, evaluation reports, and related materials.
Skills/background needed:
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members.
Basic familiarity with policy documentation and plain language writing principles.
Comfort with organizing and maintaining documentation systems.
Willingness to learn technical subject matter as needed for each project.
