We’re looking for a Grant Writer to join our team and help clients secure funding through well-crafted grant proposals.
As a Grant Writer, you’ll research, write, and manage grant proposals for clients across nonprofits, healthcare, education, government, and private-sector organizations. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their funding needs, translate their goals into compelling narratives, and help them secure the resources they need to grow.
Responsibilities
• Research and identify relevant grant opportunities (federal, state, local, and private foundation) for a range of clients
• Write, edit, and proofread persuasive, well-structured grant proposals, letters of intent, and supporting materials
• Interpret funder guidelines and ensure full compliance with formatting, budget, and submission requirements
• Develop budgets and budget narratives in coordination with clients’ financial information
• Track proposal deadlines, submission status, and reporting requirements across multiple accounts
• Stay informed about grant trends, funder priorities, and best practices across industries
Skills/background needed: Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail, research abilities, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, familiarity with grant databases and funder portals, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience writing for nonprofit, business, healthcare, education, or government clients is a plus, as is familiarity with budget development and financial narrative writing.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
