Social Media Strategist – Remote, Entry Level

About the Role

We’re looking for an ambitious Social Media Strategist to own and run our entire social media presence, using the latest tools and best practices to deliver sharp, professional content that resonates with our audience. This role has real scope: you’ll build our presence across multiple platforms, create compelling content, support executive voice, and ensure every product launch and company milestone lands on the channels that matter most.

You’ll work closely with our communications team and collaborate across marketing, sales, customer success, and design so that the best stories from our company actually make it into the feed.

What You’ll Do

• Run the social media calendar: Own a unified content calendar across multiple platforms. Plan ahead around product launches, marketing moments, and news—and stay nimble enough to react quickly when opportunities arise.

• Create and grow social presence: Build and develop content strategies across platforms. Develop content ideas, shoot and edit short-form video, and work with external voices to extend reach.

• Manage company social channels: Drive consistent, on-brand posting across all platforms. Monitor conversations and engage with your audience in real time.

• Source stories from across the company: Partner with sales, customer success, and other teams to extract and develop content from customer wins, use cases, product milestones, and team highlights.

• Create on-brand content: Design graphics using Canva, cut video natively on social platforms or with editing tools, and write copy that sounds authentic. Coordinate with the design team to ensure brand consistency across every asset.

• Support broader communications and marketing: Help draft supporting content and pitch in on light design and editing as needed.

• Measure and report: Track performance across channels, learn what’s working, and bring recommendations on where to focus efforts.

Skills/background needed:

• Proven experience managing social media and creating content (we welcome portfolios showing your best work)

• Strong writing skills and a natural feel for voice and tone across different platforms

• Comfort designing simple graphics using Canva or similar tools

• Ability to shoot and edit short-form video using mobile phones or lightweight editing tools

• Experience using social media analytics and listening tools

• Project management instincts: you can run a calendar, juggle priorities, and ship on time

• A bias toward action and sound judgment—you can move quickly on trends while protecting brand integrity

• Genuine interest in the industries we work in. You don’t need to be an expert; you do need to be curious and eager to learn

• Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms is a plus, but full training will be provided
