We’re hiring remote writers to produce news content, reports, and multimedia stories for an established online publication. This is a flexible opportunity to work from home on a part-time or full-time contract basis.
We’re looking for writers who are passionate about aviation topics and can produce engaging, accurate content on deadline. You’ll work with a dedicated team to create articles, multimedia pieces, and social media content for readers worldwide.
Roles: Write news articles and reports, edit content, manage social media posting, assist with multimedia production, conduct online research, and communicate with sources via email and messaging.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Part-time or full-time contract positions, with potential to transition to permanent roles.
Skills/background needed:
- Ability to write clearly and meet tight deadlines
- Basic understanding of web publishing and online news formats
- Familiarity with social media platforms
- Experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or similar writing tools
- Reliable, fast internet connection at home
- A computer capable of handling writing and basic graphic tasks
- Organised approach to managing multiple assignments
- Background in aviation, aerospace, or related industries is a strong advantage
- Any previous experience writing for online, radio, or video news is welcome
