About the Role

As a Bilingual (Spanish) Chat Support Representative, you will be a primary point of contact for clients, supporting them through their financial journey. This is more than answering questions—you’ll build relationships, understand individual needs, and provide personalised guidance that helps people move toward financial stability.

You will help clients understand their accounts, policies, and programme requirements, resolve concerns, and overcome barriers to success. When clients are struggling, you will listen with empathy, identify underlying concerns, and work together to find practical solutions that keep them engaged and progressing.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a primary support contact for clients, providing compassionate assistance primarily through chat, phone, email, text, and other approved channels
• Handle an average of approximately 30 client interactions per day
• Build trust through empathy and active listening, taking ownership of client concerns
• Help clients understand their accounts, policies, programme requirements, and next steps
• Work to resolve both routine and complex issues with a solution-focused approach
• Provide relevant financial education and conduct proactive follow-up when clients need support
• Handle difficult conversations professionally and with genuine compassion
• Accurately document all interactions and collaborate with internal teams to support positive outcomes

Skills/background needed:

Essential:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable with computers and standard office software
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Ability to sit for an 8-hour shift while using a headset
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
• Openness to coaching and feedback

Preferred:
• Prior customer service or call centre experience
• Experience in financial services, debt management, banking, or credit counselling
• Experience in client retention or relationship-building roles
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm during challenging conversations

Work Schedule

Training: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (your local time zone)
Regular shifts: Monday–Friday, 11:30 a.m.–8:00 p.m. (your local time zone)

No prior experience in financial services is required. Full training will be provided, and you’ll be supported every step of the way.
