We are seeking an enthusiastic and helpful Chat Support Agent to join our customer support team. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers and the public, handling inquiries through live chat and telephone support.
About the Role:
As a Chat Support Agent, you’ll work from home providing exceptional service to customers across a variety of support queues. No previous experience is required – we provide full training on all systems and processes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Communicate professionally via telephone and live chat to assist customers with their inquiries
• Provide clear, accurate information to help customers understand processes and find solutions
• Assist customers with status updates and direct them to appropriate departments when needed
• Share health education and public information with the community
• Navigate and guide customers through online portals and resources
• Maintain accurate records and databases
• Handle special requests and ad hoc assignments as they arise
Skills/background needed:
• Strong customer service orientation and friendly demeanor
• Patient, courteous approach to phone and chat communication
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Basic computer skills (we’ll train you on our specific systems)
• Spanish language skills are a bonus but not required
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
