About This Role:
We’re looking for an Entry Level Technical Writer to join our team. You’ll support the development and enhancement of technical documentation, working with our technical staff to create clear, accurate guides that help end-users get the most from our products. This is a hybrid position requiring 8 days per month on-site at our workplace.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Draft and edit technical documents with guidance and support from your team
• Conduct interviews with technical staff to gather detailed product information
• Review and follow documentation templates and guidelines
• Proofread documents for grammar, consistency, and clarity
• Assist in developing technical illustrations and diagrams
• Test documentation for usability and accuracy
• Manage document versions and updates
• Collaborate with team members across different departments
• Use documentation software for content creation and management
• Maintain consistency with editorial standards
Skills/Background Needed:
• A degree in law, legal studies, finance, or a related field
• Ability to draft and edit clear, comprehensive technical documents
• Comfortable gathering detailed information from technical experts
• Strong proofreading and attention to detail
• Experience managing document versions and updates
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
• Basic ability to assist in creating technical illustrations or diagrams
• Familiarity with documentation tools and software
• Understanding of editorial standards and terminology
• No prior technical writing experience required—full training provided
