About the Role:
We’re looking for a Communications Advisor to join our team on a fully remote basis. In this entry-level position, you’ll support our external communications and stakeholder engagement efforts, helping us build trust and strengthen our reputation in the communities we serve.
You’ll work alongside an experienced Communications team, providing strategic counsel on how we communicate with key stakeholders, managing relationships with community leaders and local government, and helping shape messaging on important issues.
What You’ll Do:
• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholder engagement and external communications strategy
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local government entities, and partners
• Support communications for complex, time-sensitive issues with clear escalation and coordination
• Develop and deliver content and messaging for internal and external audiences
• Create communications toolkits, key messages, presentations, and briefing materials
• Manage media relationships and inquiries
• Lead communications plans and campaigns from start to finish
• Monitor emerging issues and recommend proactive engagement strategies
• Track and measure the impact of communications efforts
• Contribute ideas and innovative approaches to strengthen team effectiveness
Skills/Background Needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent writing ability with attention to style and clarity
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments
• Sound judgment and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Proactive self-starter with ownership mindset
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Fluency in English required; Spanish a plus
Prior experience in communications, public relations, or external affairs is preferred, though we welcome motivated candidates eager to grow in this field. Experience in manufacturing or related industries is a bonus but not required. Full training will be provided.
