About the role:

We’re looking for an entry-level Communications Writer to join our team. You’ll support the creation and coordination of written communications across multiple channels, including newsletters, blogs, social media posts, website content, and marketing materials.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys writing, storytelling, and helping organisations communicate clearly with their audiences. You’ll work with internal teams and subject matter experts to develop content that’s accurate, engaging, and on-brand. No prior professional experience is required – we provide full training and support as you develop your skills.

What you’ll do:

• Write, edit, and proofread a wide variety of communications and marketing materials
• Create content for newsletters, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and website pages
• Develop clear, audience-appropriate messaging from complex information
• Collaborate with team members to gather information and create engaging stories
• Ensure all written materials are accurate, grammatically correct, and consistent with brand guidelines
• Support the planning and coordination of communication projects from concept to distribution
• Assist with internal communications, announcements, and training materials
• Help coordinate timelines, reviews, and approvals for communication projects
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
• Contribute ideas for improving communication processes and messaging

Skills/background needed:

• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to write for different audiences and adapt your tone and style
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Google Docs, Canva, or similar tools is helpful but not required
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Willingness to learn and develop your skills
• A bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates
