Description:
This is an entry-level role in public relations and communications where you will create, edit, and distribute written content across multiple platforms. Working closely with senior leadership, you will develop newsletters, social media posts, website content, and media materials that communicate key messages to both internal and external audiences. No prior professional experience is required—full training and mentorship will be provided.
What You’ll Do:
• Write, edit, and distribute newsletters, blog posts, and other written publications• Assist senior leaders with drafting speeches, announcements, and internal communications• Create and manage social media content across multiple platforms• Develop and edit website content as needed• Help coordinate media relations and respond to media inquiries• Create marketing materials such as fact sheets and informational documents• Edit photos and create simple visual content for publications and social media• Maintain accuracy of brand guidelines and messaging across all communications• Support the planning and coordination of internal and external events• Collaborate with team members and interns on communications projects• Perform other tasks as assigned by your manager
Skills/Background Needed:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to edit and proofread content carefully• Comfort working with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn• Basic photo editing ability (or willingness to learn)• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines• Ability to work independently and take direction from senior staff• Strong attention to detail• A degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field is preferred but not requiredFull training will be provided. Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
