We are a news organisation dedicated to producing original, unbiased, and high-quality content. We use innovative journalistic approaches backed by comprehensive research to engage and inform audiences on essential news, issues, and events taking place in their communities. We publish across television, digital platforms, and mobile apps, providing 24-hour news coverage.
About the role:
As a Multimedia Journalist, you’ll get to the heart of every story by connecting with members of your community. You’ll take ownership of the entire storytelling process—from pitching and writing to shooting, interviewing, and editing. You’ll work with a collaborative team to create compelling, timely, and accurate coverage across traditional and digital platforms.

What you’ll bring:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience in television news reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent television work experience)
• Ability to shoot videos and edit video content
• Strong on-camera communication skills and written/verbal expression
• Innate curiosity and sense of urgency when creating compelling stories
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Willingness to travel throughout your community to uncover important stories
• Ability to work under time pressure and different shifts, including weekends and holidays during breaking news and severe weather
• Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
• Experience working in a 24-hour news environment
Working Conditions:
You’ll work in a climate-controlled office environment and outdoors throughout the year, which may expose you to various weather conditions including extreme heat or cold.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location: Local position available.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent.
