About the role:
This is an entry-level communications and content writing position supporting educational outreach and programme visibility. You’ll develop a range of written and digital content to engage students, staff, and external audiences. Working in a hybrid format, you’ll collaborate with programme leadership and teams to create marketing materials, social media content, and communications that inform and inspire.
No prior experience required – full training will be provided in all communications tools and processes.
What you’ll do:
- Write content for multiple formats: social media, email, websites, print materials, and advertisements
- Create and edit copy for digital and print campaigns
- Develop and maintain social media presence across platforms
- Help plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns
- Write programme and student-focused content for various media
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation to develop creative materials
- Manage media inquiries and help coordinate interviews and media relations
- Shoot and edit video content as needed
- Track and report on the performance of campaigns and social media activity
- Support leadership with communication tasks and strategic initiatives
Skills/background needed:
- Clear written and spoken English communication
- Ability to work collaboratively with people across all levels
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Willingness to learn marketing and communications tools
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms
- Interest in content creation and audience engagement
- Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (or willingness to learn)
- Bonus: experience with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, or graphic design tools
