Content Creator – Social Media Marketing, Entry Level, On-Site

About the Position

We are seeking a creative and organized Content Creator to manage and develop our social media presence. This is a hands-on, in-person position for someone who enjoys creating content—not simply scheduling posts. You’ll have the opportunity to recognize content opportunities throughout the workday, capture and create engaging videos and photos, develop promotional campaigns, and help communicate our services in a compelling way.

You will work closely with team leadership, staff, and clients to showcase services, educate our audience, strengthen our brand, and generate interest in the business.

Key Responsibilities

Create, film, edit, and publish engaging social media content, including short-form videos, photos, stories, educational content, promotional posts, and behind-the-scenes material.

Manage social media presence across multiple platforms and maintain a consistent posting schedule.

Identify content opportunities during the workday and proactively coordinate filming with team members.

Create promotional campaigns for featured services, seasonal offers, new offerings, events, and business initiatives.

Write engaging captions and marketing copy consistent with the brand and professional image.

Create graphics and marketing materials using Canva or similar design tools.

Edit short-form video using video editing software such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere.

Maintain and organize a content calendar.

Monitor social media engagement, reach, and overall content performance.

Respond appropriately to social media comments and messages.

Help generate interest and increase awareness of services.

Stay current with social media trends, platform changes, and content formats.

Assist with website, email, and other digital marketing initiatives as needed.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, and comfortable behind a camera. You should be capable of taking ownership of content from idea through publication and be able to identify worthwhile content opportunities independently.

Strong candidates will have:

Experience creating social media content for a business, brand, or organization.

Short-form video filming and editing skills.

Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and similar platforms.

Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe products, or comparable content-creation tools.

Strong writing, grammar, and communication skills.

Good visual judgment and attention to detail.

Confidence working directly with team members and clients.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

A professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for the workplace.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a visually driven consumer business such as beauty, wellness, or fitness is preferred.
