Position Summary:
This is a content creation role focused on identifying, creating, and publishing engaging posts to sports social platforms. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment reaching audiences worldwide. If you’re passionate about sports and enjoy creating content that resonates with online communities, this role offers the opportunity to grow your skills while contributing to a dynamic team.
What You’ll Do:
• Create and publish real-time content optimized for social platforms, including short-form posts and game coverage• Write engaging copy for pre-game, live, and post-game content• Assist with managing social media accounts and developing content strategies• Help manage platform features and special content initiatives• Publish content across multiple social platforms as needed• Work collaboratively with the content team on a daily basis to identify and create trending content
Skills/background needed:
• Strong passion for and knowledge of sports, including understanding of rules, player stories, team histories, and statistics• Familiarity with how audiences engage with sports content on social platforms• Ability to write in a clear, engaging brand voice• Experience managing or posting to social media platforms (no specific platform experience required; we provide training)• Comfortable working on tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously• Detail-oriented, organized approach to work• Strong communication skills and ability to incorporate feedback• Collaborative team player attitude• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on sporting events• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field preferred, but not required
