We’re seeking an entry-level Content Journalist to join our team. In this role, you’ll report on news stories, shoot and edit content, develop story ideas, and build professional contacts. You’ll produce daily content across multiple platforms including websites, social media, and mobile apps, in addition to traditional broadcast formats.
Roles: Reporting, content creation, shooting, editing, story development, and platform management.
What you’ll do:
- Research, pitch, and develop news stories
- Conduct interviews and gather information from reliable sources
- Shoot and edit video content for web, social media, and broadcast
- Publish content across multiple digital platforms
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily deadlines
- Maintain professional relationships with news contacts
Skills/background needed:
- Strong news judgment and story-telling ability
- Solid technical skills with video equipment and editing software
- Ability to work independently and manage your time
- A minimum of 1 year of reporting experience
- Experience conducting live interviews or broadcasts
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable learning new tools and workflows
Contract length: Full Time
