Content Writer – Documentation & Procedures, Entry Level, On-Site

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a content writer focused on documentation and procedures. You will work on-site with our operations teams to author, update, and manage technical documentation, training materials, and procedural guides. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in systems documentation, process mapping, and technical writing while supporting manufacturing operations across multiple areas.

This is a hands-on position that requires regular engagement with production teams, so you’ll build practical experience working directly with end users and understanding real operational processes from day one. Full training will be provided in all systems and procedures you’ll be working with.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

• Author and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and job aids for operational teams

• Create and update training materials and functional verification protocols

• Work with subject matter experts and operations leads to gather and document critical business requirements and processes

• Support end users through training on new documentation and procedures

• Participate in process mapping activities to understand and document business processes

• Assist with documentation reviews and ensure all content complies with relevant procedures and standards

• Identify and escalate documentation gaps or inconsistencies to leadership

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance documentation and training materials

• Work with cross-functional teams to support projects and document new processes

• Develop onboarding and training content for new team members

Skills and Background Needed

You’ll need:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to learn and apply new systems and software quickly

• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

• Ability to work collaboratively with teams across different departments

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Comfort with learning manufacturing or operational concepts

What We’re Looking For (Preferred)

• Any experience in manufacturing, operations, or quality management

• Experience with systems documentation or technical writing

• Familiarity with data management or quality tracking systems

• Knowledge of compliance standards or standard operating procedures

Contract Length: Full Time, Permanent

Work Schedule: On-site, 5 days per week. Occasional travel may be required (less than 5%).

Location: On-site position. Local candidates preferred.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
