Role Overview:
Are you a clear communicator who loves translating complex information into engaging stories? We’re looking for a content writer and editor to help shape the communications that inform, engage and inspire diverse audiences. You’ll work with business leaders to develop strategic messages, create compelling content across multiple platforms, and help build strong stakeholder relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and deliver strategic communications that are clear, accurate, and focused on the audience, ensuring stakeholders receive timely, relevant information through the right channels.
- Create compelling content across multiple platforms and formats—written, visual, video, digital and multimedia—that tells stories and strengthens stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a communications advisor to leaders and partners by providing strategic guidance, assessing communications needs, identifying opportunities, and developing messaging that supports business goals.
- Work collaboratively across teams, supporting other writers and projects, managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and helping with the administrative side of communications work.
- Support media relations and crisis communications efforts, including responding to inquiries and assisting with communications during high-profile situations.
Skills/Background Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in communications, journalism, English or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
- Seven or more years of professional writing and communications experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate complex information for different audiences.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract Length: Permanent, full-time position.
Location: Hybrid position with in-person reporting required.
