About the role:
We’re looking for an entry-level content writer to assist with athletics communications, live event coverage, broadcast production, statistics management, website updates, social media, graphic design, and sports writing. This position provides hands-on experience using industry-standard platforms while helping promote athletics communications.
What you’ll do:
• Assist with livestream broadcast setup, operation, monitoring, and breakdown• Provide commentary for select broadcasts• Prepare game notes, team information, player details, statistics, and storylines• Enter, verify, and publish live statistics for multiple sports• Manage website content including schedules, rosters, statistics, scores, recaps, and livestream links• Create and publish game-day social media content across multiple platforms• Create graphics for game-day, promotional, score, and milestone announcements• Write engaging game recaps using statistics, notes, quotes, and game information• Assist with or conduct post-game interviews• Support game-day sports information operations• Organize broadcast equipment, creative assets, and communications files• Follow brand standards across all content and platforms

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, dependent upon your class schedule.
