About the role
We’re looking for a content creator to own our video and social media output end to end. You’ll develop content ideas, build a content calendar, write scripts, direct shoots, oversee editing, and ensure everything gets posted across all platforms on schedule.
This is a creative ownership role—you’ll be responsible for the complete content strategy and execution, not just scheduling posts. You’ll work closely with the founder, who will be on camera, and you’ll direct their performance and ensure the content aligns with our voice and vision.
What you’ll own
Content ideas: Research what’s working across social platforms and maintain a bank of fresh concepts each week to keep the content pipeline full.
Content calendar: Plan and organize a monthly roadmap that defines key themes, content series for each platform, and posting schedules.
Script writing: Write engaging scripts with strong hooks designed to capture attention, maintaining a consistent voice throughout.
Production: Handle camera, audio, and lighting setup for studio and on-location shoots. Direct the on-camera talent and manage the overall production quality.
Editing oversight: Brief freelance editors on the creative direction, maintain deadlines, and review finished content to ensure quality standards are met.
Distribution: Ensure all content is formatted natively for each platform and posted on schedule across all channels.
What we’re looking for
Experience with short-form video content creation and a portfolio demonstrating strong performance metrics is essential. You should have strong scriptwriting skills, especially for creating engaging hooks that drive viewer retention.
You’re comfortable handling camera, audio, and lighting independently, and you bring high energy and creativity to production. You’re willing to pitch bold, unconventional ideas and aren’t afraid to take creative risks.
You have a genuine interest in career development, professional growth, and workplace topics—you don’t need to be an expert yet, but authentic curiosity about the subject matter is important.
