Role: Content Writer
About the role:
We’re looking for a Content Writer to join our team on a fully remote basis. You’ll create clear, engaging, and audience-focused written content for both internal and external use. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your writing skills while supporting important organizational communications, employee engagement, brand reputation, and marketing initiatives.
As a Content Writer, you’ll work across multiple channels—including employee communications, newsletters, website copy, marketing materials, social media, blog posts, and customer-facing content. You’ll translate complex business and technical information into clear, compelling writing that resonates with different audiences. This role offers hands-on experience in storytelling, content strategy, and multi-channel communication.
What you’ll do:
• Write, edit, and proofread content for internal and external audiences
• Develop employee communications, newsletters, leadership messages, FAQs, announcements, and organizational updates
• Create website content, marketing materials, campaign messaging, blog posts, social media copy, and thought leadership pieces
• Translate complex business, operational, and technical information into clear, audience-focused content
• Adapt tone, style, and messaging based on audience, channel, and communication goals
• Identify and develop stories that highlight employees, business initiatives, company culture, and achievements
• Interview leaders, employees, and experts to gather information and develop accurate, engaging content
• Support communication efforts that help employees understand business initiatives and organizational changes
• Manage content plans and editorial calendars
• Repurpose content and stories across internal and external channels
• Draft executive communications, presentation content, scripts, and talking points
• Review and strengthen content developed by others, manage multiple assignments and deadlines
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
• At least three years of professional writing experience in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, content development, or a similar field
• Proven ability to create content for multiple audiences, channels, and communication objectives
• Strong portfolio demonstrating writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities
• Experience interviewing subject matter experts and translating complex information into audience-focused content
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and team collaboration tools
• Comfort using content development tools to improve efficiency and content quality
• Experience supporting organizational communications, business transformation, or culture initiatives is a plus
• Multimedia content experience is a plus
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
