You’ll meet with customers in person or over the phone to understand their financial goals, recommend suitable products and services, resolve issues, and process transactions accurately and efficiently. You’ll also partner with specialists to connect customers with experts for their more complex financial needs.
Core Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales:
Act as a trusted advisor using a consultative approach to help customers find the right financial solutions. Make thoughtful recommendations for products and services that genuinely benefit customers. Provide exceptional experiences by building relationships, understanding customer needs, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. Maintain high satisfaction standards through professionalism, accuracy, and timely follow-up. Communicate clearly with customers about available services, promotions, and options. Help customers learn about and use online and self-service banking tools. Welcome customers, manage waiting times, and ensure smooth service delivery.
Operations & Processing:
Process customer transactions accurately using banking systems and established procedures. Handle account openings and maintenance for various account types. Assess customer needs and identify appropriate loan products, then submit applications and manage loan-related tasks through completion. Process all financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and other banking activities. Make sound decisions that follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Identify potential risks and escalate concerns to supervisors when necessary.
Compliance & Controls:
Support branch operations by participating in opening and closing procedures, daily reporting, and audit tasks. Maintain accurate records, verify currency, balance cash boxes, and produce required reports. Stay current with banking policies, procedures, and regulations. Help identify and prevent fraud and financial crimes. Understand and comply with relevant banking and financial regulations.
Performance & Growth:
Contribute to branch and organizational success by meeting performance goals. Continuously improve your customer conversations and skills to build stronger customer relationships and support business growth.
Skills/background needed: High School Diploma or GED. One or more years of customer service and sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated ability. Basic computer skills including familiarity with Windows and internet applications. Willingness to obtain a Notary Public license within six months and a National Mortgage License within three months. No prior banking experience required – full training will be provided.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Location: Local positions available. This role is based on-site at the workplace and requires in-person customer interaction.
