About this role
This position is responsible for accurately preparing and submitting customs documentation to relevant authorities. You will work as a liaison between overseas offices, customers, and government agencies to ensure imported goods clear customs efficiently and on time.
What you’ll do
• Prepare and maintain customer quotations, rate sheets, and pricing proposals to support business development activities• Administer customer accounts by maintaining accurate records, contractual information, and service documentation• Coordinate and respond to customer inquiries by collaborating with internal teams• Monitor and follow up on customer requests and pending actions• Collect, organize, and maintain customer, vendor, and pricing information within company systems• Support the preparation and submission of request for quotation and request for proposal responses• Coordinate rate collection activities with vendors and internal stakeholders• Review pricing and commercial data for accuracy and consistency before customer submission• Generate, compile, and distribute sales performance reports and pricing analyses• Maintain organized documentation and electronic records related to sales activities• Collaborate with sales, operations, and other teams to align customer requirements and service offerings• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency• Assist with meeting coordination and presentation preparation• Support special projects and data requests related to sales operations• Provide backup support for other administrative functions during peak periods
Skills/background needed
Required:• High school diploma or equivalent• 0–1 year of experience in customs, freight forwarding, administrative, or customer service roles (or none at all — we provide full training)• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Proficient computer skills• Basic experience with Microsoft Excel• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilityPreferred:• Bachelor’s degree• 2–5 years of related experience• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
