Roles: Multimedia Producer, Editor and Writer
We are looking for a beginner-friendly Multimedia Producer, Editor and Writer to create engaging video and written content for a science-focused communications team. This is a fully remote role with full training provided, so no prior professional experience is required.
You will help plan, write and edit short and long-form videos for social media, support live video programming, and turn complex topics into clear, friendly content for a general audience. You will also learn to use performance data to understand what audiences enjoy.
Skills/background needed: A willingness to learn video editing, script writing and basic camera work. Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and an interest in science and storytelling. Familiarity with social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X is helpful. Training is provided for everything else, including editing tools.
Contract length: Ongoing
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
