Roles: We are looking for a beginner-friendly News Writer and Editor to join our fully remote editorial team. This is a work-from-home role with full training provided, so no prior professional experience is required.
What you will do:
• Write and edit short news descriptions and scripts
• Check graphics and videos match the scripts
• Share important story details with producers and managers
• Research top stories thoroughly
• Find creative ways to tell a story
• Work as part of a supportive team
Skills/background needed:
• Accurate writing, research, and editing skills
• An interest in current events and world news
• Good news judgment and the ability to respond quickly as stories develop
• Comfort working to deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
