About the role: We’re looking for a Proposal Writer to support our growing team. You’ll work closely with experienced project managers to develop proposals, conduct research, and coordinate key documents for client opportunities. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone eager to build a writing career in a collaborative environment.
What you’ll do:
• Research and analyze funding opportunities from various public and private sector sources
• Collaborate with the team to develop proposal strategies tailored to each opportunity
• Write and edit proposals according to client requirements and company standards
• Organize and manage proposal development timelines and deliverables
• Conduct interviews and gather information from subject matter experts to support proposal writing
• Ensure proposals are clear, concise, and effectively communicate the value of our services
• Work with the design team to produce professional, visually appealing proposals
• Participate in proposal reviews to identify areas for improvement
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
• Ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with the procurement process and proposal development is a plus, but full training will be provided
• Familiarity with economic development topics is helpful but not required
