We are seeking a Grant Writer to help build and maintain a strong funding pipeline through consistent grant proposal submissions. In this role, you will manage the full grant lifecycle—from researching funding opportunities through final submission—while keeping detailed records and working closely with our team to align proposals with organizational goals.
About This Role:
You will draft, edit, and submit grant proposals and related funding documents on a regular basis. You’ll collaborate with team members to translate programme concepts into compelling, fundable narratives. Your responsibilities will include researching local, state, and federal funding opportunities, managing submissions across various online portals, maintaining organized records of all proposals and funder communications, and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
This is a fully remote position, and you’ll work independently with guidance from leadership. You’ll need strong time management skills to handle multiple deadlines and maintain consistent output while keeping meticulous documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
You have experience writing grant proposals and understand how to research and match funding opportunities to organizational needs. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing digital files and spreadsheets. You can write clearly and adapt your writing style to different funders and proposal types. You’re a self-starter who can work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
Experience with grant writing, familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, and comfort with online submission portals are essential. Experience with Adobe Acrobat and video conferencing tools like Zoom is helpful.
Skills/background needed: Grant proposal writing experience, strong writing and editing skills, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, comfort with digital tools and spreadsheets, organized approach to record-keeping, self-motivated work style
Contract length: Contract/1099 consultant position
Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application
Location: Fully remote – work from anywhere
Full training and support will be provided. We welcome applications from candidates looking to build their grant-writing experience in a supportive team environment.
