You’ll need excellent written communication skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, strong organisational abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. A valid driver’s license is required. A bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Professional Writing, or a related field is preferred.

About the role:

We’re looking for a Grant Writer to help identify funding opportunities and support the organisation’s growth through grant proposals and applications. You’ll research potential funding sources, compile and submit grant applications, and monitor compliance and reporting requirements. This is a great entry-level opportunity to build expertise in grant writing while contributing to meaningful organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing grant proposals and funding applications
  • Researching potential funding sources and opportunities
  • Collecting and analysing data to support applications
  • Writing clearly and informatively to meet the needs of different audiences

Work environment:

This is an on-site position based at the workplace in a normal office setting. You’ll work in a professional environment with varying noise levels. The role involves frequent computer work, including reading, typing, and using office equipment. Some occasional travel may be required. The position involves managing multiple deadlines and may occasionally require extended hours to meet project goals. You’ll interact regularly with team members, vendors, and colleagues at meetings and in day-to-day work.
