We are seeking a detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. In this role, you will develop, write, and manage grant proposals to secure funding for our organization’s mission. Your work in crafting compelling proposals, conducting research, and managing grant processes will directly contribute to the growth and sustainability of our programs. Duties
Research grant opportunities by analyzing funding sources from government agencies, foundations, and other organizations
Develop persuasive grant proposals and compelling case statements aligned with funder priorities and organizational goals
Manage the entire grant submission process, including preparing budgets, supporting documents, and compliance reports
Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and correspondence using databases and tracking systems
Collaborate with team members to gather content, data, and financial information necessary for proposal writing and reporting
Edit and proofread proposals, reports, and related content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism
Monitor grant progress and ensure timely submission of renewal applications or reports
Skills/background needed
Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive proposals and reports
Excellent research skills to identify new funding opportunities
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting is helpful but not required
Full training will be provided. No prior grant writing experience is necessary—we welcome enthusiastic beginners who are eager to learn and make a difference through fundraising efforts.
