About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized Grant Writer and Research Specialist to support our fundraising efforts. In this role, you will manage the complete grant lifecycle—from researching funding opportunities and writing compelling proposals to tracking outcomes and drafting final impact reports for funders.

Key Responsibilities
Grant Research & Prospecting: Research and identify corporate, foundation, and government grant opportunities. Maintain organized records of grant deadlines, submission requirements, and reporting milestones.
Proposal Writing & Submission: Write, edit, and assemble compelling grant applications, narratives, and supporting documentation. Collaborate with leadership to develop program budgets and outcome projections.
Final Reporting & Data Analysis: Track and evaluate program metrics and outcomes. Write detailed, professional final reports and financial reconciliations for funder compliance. Analyze past grant performance to help refine future funding strategies.
Skills/background needed:
1+ years of experience in grant writing, grant research, or donor/funder reporting (non-profit development experience is a plus).
Outstanding narrative writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Comfortable working with data, metrics, and basic budgets to translate impact into clear reports.
Strong time management skills to handle flexible deadlines in a part-time schedule.
