About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our team as a Grants Writer and Administrator. You’ll play a key role in securing funding by researching grant opportunities, preparing compelling grant applications, managing budgets, and coordinating special projects. No prior grants experience is required—we’ll provide full training and support to help you succeed.
In this role, you’ll:
• Research funding opportunities and identify potential sources of support
• Write clear and compelling grant proposals and funding applications
• Prepare budgets and monitor financial expenditures related to grants
• Track programme results and analyse financial data
• Coordinate and oversee special projects assigned to the role
• Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and the public
• Maintain organised systems to monitor programme progress
• Work independently with minimal supervision while exercising good judgment
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, English, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience considered)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• Professional demeanour when interacting with colleagues, supervisors, and the public
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment screening
Prior grant writing or funding proposal experience is not required; we welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates eager to learn.
