Grants Writer – Entry Level, Full Time

We are seeking an entry-level Grants Writer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in proposal writing, grant research, and administrative support.

About the Role

You will assist with developing and writing proposals and related contracts. Your core responsibilities will include writing grant materials, conducting research, and helping to organize and distribute grant information. This position involves managing multiple projects simultaneously and working independently while meeting deadlines.

Skills/background needed: You should have strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Experience with database management and formatting documents professionally is important. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and a commitment to delivering quality work with minimal supervision. Previous experience in administrative work, journalism, communications, or grants development is beneficial but not required – we provide full training.

What we’re looking for: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects, and excellent communication skills. You should be comfortable working in an office environment and be willing to travel locally and out of county as needed.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full time, permanent position.

Location: Local on-site position available.
