About This Role:
We’re looking for a Technical Writer to join our growing team. You’ll create clear, engaging content that explains complex technical topics in a way anyone can understand. This is a fully remote position perfect for someone starting their writing career or transitioning into technical content.
What You’ll Do:
Content Creation: Write white papers, product documentation, blog articles, and digital content. Break down complicated technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with our audience.
Customer Stories: Work with our sales and customer teams to identify real-world applications and success stories. Transform these into case studies and publishable content that showcase customer value and outcomes.
Product Messaging: Partner with Product Managers and sales teams to understand our offerings and develop messaging that clearly communicates what makes our products unique.
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and other departments to ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and on-brand. Create training materials and support presentations and customer-facing initiatives.
Content Quality: Keep all content consistent, accurate, and up-to-date. Manage updates and revisions as products and market conditions change.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to support thought leadership and external content distribution.
Skills/background needed:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or product content (or a strong portfolio demonstrating these skills)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, clear language
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with SEO and keyword strategies
Nice to Have:
• Experience in industrial, instrumentation, or measurement-related markets
• Understanding of product lifecycle concepts
• Experience supporting technical sales teams
