Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our team. In this role, you will create compelling email copy and marketing messages for our e-commerce platform. You will write high-converting promotional content, design email layouts, build automated messaging sequences, and use data to improve customer engagement and sales. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution: Plan, build, and schedule promotional email newsletters, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
Automation & Messaging Flows: Build and test automated email sequences (welcome series, abandoned cart follow-ups, post-purchase messages, and re-engagement campaigns).
Content & Design: Write engaging, conversion-focused email copy and collaborate with design tools to create visually appealing email layouts that match brand guidelines.
Segmentation & Personalization: Organize customer lists, segment audiences based on shopping behavior and engagement, and create tailored messaging for different customer groups.
Compliance & Deliverability: Monitor email performance, maintain list quality, and ensure all communications follow marketing regulations and best practices.
Testing & Optimization: Test different subject lines, send times, and email designs to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign performance metrics and present weekly or monthly reports with recommendations for improvement.
Skills/background needed
Experience with email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp or similar tools) is helpful but training will be provided. Proficiency with Canva or basic graphic design tools is beneficial. Strong writing and copywriting skills for customer-facing communications. Basic comfort with analytics dashboards and data. Attention to detail, solid time-management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with e-commerce or retail is a plus but not required.
